The Spirit Carried On.

Part 1 When I was thirteen years old, I used to be really stupid. I still am a lot, but back then, I was really, cartoonishly stupid. In one ocasion, when I was searching for some videogame related thing, an ancient forum popped up in the front page of google. It wasn't the first time. The strangest thing to me, then, was that all the topics I've come across where made and discussed in 2012. Thus began a life-long storyline that still haunts me to this day. Before this event, I didn't think about my past and didn't feel it the way I do today. It's like a tangible thing, I can see it, hear it, smell it, almost hold it in my hands, all the time, every single day. Even though I haven't lived most of the memories that keep passing through me. This feeling would go on to follow me for the rest of my entire life. I call it Nostalgia Overdrive . If we're talking in music, the best picture I can paint in your mind to describe all this is using Radiohead's Idiote...

nakano4 Appreciation Post

The first of many posts about a random artist that no one but me cares about, and today we're talking about nakano4. Not like I know much about them, but I found their music when I was in my vocaloid phase of 2020, and I was trying to find cool Kasane Teto songs, which led me to making a compilation mixtape (that I might post here in the future). During this, I found "Sky High", which is arguably one of the most famous Teto songs ever, and it was made by this random producer named nakano4. Being the curious nerd I am, I decided to look more into this person's music, and I ended up becoming a fan. So much so, that I also made a compilation mixtape for him, and I listened to it so much that his songs became classics to me. His music is basically different iterations of house and EDM, which to me is what vocaloid music should be from the beggining. So many vocaloid producers make the same songs over and over, with boring midi guitars and midi drums, while the classic ele...

Top 10 Romantic Songs

Imagem
You know, I'm a very romantic person. Unfortunately, a hopeless one, kinda like Ted Mosby (which I do know is a red flag). A good example of that is my specific affection towards genuinely romantic songs, those with earnestly wholesome or quirky lyrics, and to show that (and also because of one of these songs being stuck on my head) I've decided to write a top 10 list of my favorite romantic songs. They'll be Ranked in a scale of romantic-ness, quantified by myself. You'll understand while reading. So, without further ado, here's the list. 10- Beachwood Sparks - By Your Side This song, which was famously included in the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World soundtrack, is actually a cover of Sade , but I think most would agree that this version is the superior one, particularly because of the instrumental, which sounds simply heavenly. This song makes anyone feels safe and loved even if they don't have anyone in their life. 9- Plumtree - Aquarius Hey, look, it's my f...
